State of the Rack
second replacement disk arrived (Western Digital). Since the new mobo has 2xSATA onboard, plus the promise TX4 with its four channels of SATA, we can have all five disks going at once. Four for RAID5, and one as a hot spare. Testing continues.. hope to make it live before too long.

As I write we are hard at work on the bringup of the new raid in the new case with the new CPU.. specs later.. but it’s running now at 1.4 ghz, athlon m .

While visiting Monterey I hung the control cable of the radio out the window.. sat in the shade of the car.. and managed to have a good QSO with a Minnesota station!
