<p>Looking at a amd64 dual core system, in an <a href="http://www.provantage.com/antec-take-3~7ANTR013.htm">antec Take3 quiet 3U case</a> as a replacement.</p>
<p>for backup, I&#8217;d like to use a cheap voice recorder.  All of them seem to record to the proprietary WMA or DSS formats.  looks like some older ones will record to MP3..  <a href="http://www.ikey-audio.com/ikeyplus.htm">ikey+</a> seems promising, but isn&#8217;t out yet.. and the previous version had a lot of bad reviews from users.</p>
<p>i think i might see if i can find a cheap secondhand direct-to-MP3  recorder, or to WAV if possible..  and look at the ikey+ when it is out.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[using ipodedit i was able to hack my nano..  sorry for the blurry photos, it&#8217;s hard to get the camera and the nano to both be ready for the photo simultaneously..
Of course a picture of my Cat instead of the &#8216;no&#8217; symbol&#8230; plus it says &#8216;nano&#8217; not &#8216;iPod&#8217;

		<description><![CDATA[so after burning my finger on solder producing a reflex action which smacked my wrist against the wooden frame with enough force to send me to the doctor to x-ray  the non-broken bone.. all just before church started..

<p>.. i finally finished the monitor speaker.   had to resolder the XLR connector, after carrying it around in my pocket looking for mounting screws..  hot glue was dug up and used to fix the wires.  An oversized volume knob was put on.. </p>
